Kennie has many years of executive search experience in Asia, particularly in the Greater China region, Malaysia and Singapore. His focus is mostly on FMCG, private equity and VC investment firms, consumer food portfolio companies, technological industries including oil & gas, chemical, automotive, and electronics.
He is recognized for his ability to successfully execute highly complex search engagements with the capability to "comb" candidates from the whole of mainland China, as well as from across the Asia Pacific region, particularly candidates from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Australia.
Kennie graduated with a degree in Polymer Engineering from the University of Science, Malaysia. Prior to his engagement in the senior executive search business, he worked for more than 10 years in the semiconductor manufacturing industry and held various senior engineering positions.
As a Malaysian of Chinese origin, Kennie speaks English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese.
