With expertise on emerging market entry strategy gained as a consultant and from firsthand experience, Timothy brings with him knowledge of the Chinese market and culture coupled with his experience managing companies within China and the United States.
While working for the US Commercial Service in the United States, Timothy assisted American companies with their market entry strategies throughout the Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe. He has successfully managed several companies including a training company through its start up phase in China. Since 2003, Timothy has been working with European and American companies to establish their presence in China.
Timothy holds an MBA from Thunderbird, School of Global Management, and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of New Mexico. He has served as the Vice Chair of the Trade & Distribution Working Group of the European Union Chamber of Commerce and has hosted and delivered numerous seminars and events on China's economic development, HR, and market entry strategies for both the public and private sectors. He is also an adjunct professor at CIEE, a leading US accredited international education organization, delivering a course on Chinese business practices.
