Alessandro has extensive strategy & management consulting experience and strong global perspective gained in three continents - Asia, Europe and America.
Alessandro's business experience spans from top international firms to start-ups, including The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked for several years in both the Boston and Milan offices; Barilla, Italy's leading food company and Auripay.com, a Boston based e-payment company that, after merging with a direct competitor, was successfully sold to a major industry player for US$ 155 M.
As a co-founder of The JLJ Group, Alessandro has advised dozens of foreign clients and various governmental organizations in China on a variety of strategic and tactical issues in several industries including consumer goods & retailing, business-to-business markets, automotive, machinery, textile, food & beverage, online gaming, and many others.
Alessandro holds a degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy), and an MBA from the Kellogg Business School (Chicago, U.S.A.).
His preferred hobby is (still) to beat regularly his three brothers at chess in online family tournaments. He speaks fluent Italian, English and Spanish and is conversational in Mandarin, French and German.
