A.J. has extensive experience in general management, sales & marketing, strategic planning, and business development in multinational companies and professional service firms in both China and the U.S. His resume includes tenures with Nokia, BASF, MTV/Viacom, 20th Century Fox, Trane/ American Standard and Pepsi.
As a founder of The JLJ Group, A.J. has advised hundreds of clients from different industries from over 30 countries.
Being a representative of Chinese returnees and an entrepreneur with an international background, A.J. is active in bridging both cultural and business differences between China and the Western world. He has been interviewed by several Asian and Western newspapers and magazines including China Daily, South China Morning Post, China Economic Review, That's Shanghai, Dallas Morning News, Kauppalehti and B-International.
A.J. holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Texas, U.S.A. He is the 2009 SMU Cox Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipient and is currently the President of the SMU Alumni Shanghai Chapter and Director of Cox Alumni Board. A.J. also holds a BA in Economics.
A.J. is fluent in English, Mandarin and multiple Chinese dialects.
