Francesco brings to JLJ extensive experience in management consulting, in-depth knowledge of the U.S. market and a significant business network.
Between 1996 and 2008, he was at The Monitor Group's world headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts (USA), where he consulted to major corporations in several industries including manufacturing, direct marketing, energy, and HVAC.
The author of numerous articles and four books on international trade, Francesco recently published "Institutions and the Economy" (Polity Press) and "The Social Construction of Free Trade" (Princeton University Press). The latter is forthcoming in Mandarin (China Social Sciences Publishing House).
At JLJ, Francesco is in charge of the US office covering all aspects of business development, marketing and client support from the US side. He is a frequent speaker at China-related events, webinars, and international trade conferences.
Francesco holds a joint BA/MA from the University of Chicago, and an MA and PhD from Harvard University. He was Lecturer at Harvard University during 1998 and 2000, and is now a tenured professor at Bates College.
